MEET OUR JUDGE-SUE NELSON-SUEZ SALUKIS

Greetings Fellow Saluki Fanciers,

I want to thank you for the opportunity to judge the Match for your club.  I have been in the breed for 40 years and have bred three litters.  Currently I own seven salukis, four smooths and three feathered.  Since moving to New Mexico, I have recently started a little bit of open field coursing. Spending time in the open field has really enhanced my perspective of what these beautiful hounds can do and how important a stable temperament is. The things I look for when evaluating a Saluki is balance, good strong feet to run with, neck set into well laid-back shoulder, come back in the upper arm and a well-muscled hound. Again, thank you for the opportunity.  As a long-time Saluki fancier, this nomination is the highest honor.

Sue Nelson
