First of all, I’d like to thank the SCGSF club for inviting me to judge the 2024 October 05, 2024 puppy and veteran sweeps. Truly an honor to judge at this specialty.
Thanks to the SCGSF members and workers for the wonderful hospitality. It was truly appreciated. I had such a great time. Thank you to all of the exhibitors for all of the wonderful salukis you brought for me to evaluate. They are each so special to me. Overall, I loved the entry. So many beautiful and correct salukis which gave me many good ones to choose from. Thank you!

This puppy had much potential. He was a moderate saluki with nice muscle for a puppy. On this day he was a little too happy on the down and back and moving around the ring, but I have a feeling this will all get much better in the near future. Even maybe later today 😊.

Best in Puppy Sweeps
A very nice moderate boy with smooth shoulders fitting well on his body. He was very balanced on the move from the side and clean moving down and back. He never really put a foot down wrong. On this day he was the most balanced puppy which earned him Best Puppy award. Hope he gets a chance to do some coursing as I think he will be fast. Overall, a very nice saluki.

A moderate puppy with lots of potential. When she matures and hopefully settles, I think she is going to be a lot of fun. She is a nice saluki.

Nice, moderate outline. When she settles, there is lots of potential in this girl. She was sound on the down back but a bit happy when gaiting from the side. Hope to see her again some day in the future as I think she will mature nicely.

Best of Opposite in Puppy Sweeps
A good saluki with a classic, moderate outline. When she settled, she was balanced on the move and was clean on the down and back. Nice muscle. I’d like to see her run as well! Her balance and conditioning earned her Best of Opposite.

A very nice moderate veteran boy with great breed type. Loved his outline. He was very balanced on the move and sound on the down and back. Smooth shoulders that fit beautifully on his body. A pleasure to judge and I could have watched him move all day. He easily won Best in Veteran Sweeps with his movement and beautiful outline.

Best of Opposite in Veteran Sweeps
This bitch had pretty breed type. She was very balanced on the move and was a pleasure to watch. Sound on the down and back. She had nice, smooth shoulders. Very fit and well-muscled. She looks like she should be very successful in coursing. She was my Best of Opposite Sex.

A very nice moderate girl. This was a tough decision between first and second in this class. She was not quite as balanced on the move as the 1st place girl on the day. I think this girl would also be very successful in coursing.
